PRIVATE LESSONS NOW AVAILABLE!
PLEASE ASK FOR DETAILS.

Aikido is an effective form of self-defense for all ages. The self-defense taught is not only physical but mental and spiritual as well. Ultimately, the Aikido student will be able to apply the principles and philosophies of Aikido to all aspects of their life—at home, in school, and in other social and personal interactions.

Youth classes are taught in a fun and engaging manner, with a combination of educational games and traditional Aikido practice. Emphasis in classes is on safety, cooperation, discipline, attention, awareness and respect for self and others.

Benefits of youth training in Aikido include fun physical movement and exercise, improved coordination and balance, increased self-esteem and self-confidence, better concentration and awareness, positive development of social skills, relationship building and teamwork. Students learn responses other than fighting back. With consistent practice, will also be better able to manage anger or stress. They will do better in school and achieve better test scores because of improved focus and attention span for studying and learning in other areas.
